To make your own soda water. You will need a tank of CO2 (I used an old O2 bottle and had it retro fitted with a CO2 nozzle), a regulator, pressure hose, hose clamps, 1 or 2 liter bottle and bottle holder (this uses 3/8" brass (I got from an old hinge) a section of an inner tube, two bolts with wing nuts, and a threaded hose nipple). You will need a drill and a jig saw with a metal cutting blade, thread cutting tool for the nipple and a file.

The holes on the top of the holder plate are all in a line.

The bottom plate is cut with your saw and then smoothed with your file so the neck of your bottle below the "flair" will just slip in.

When the wing nuts are tightende the flair of the bottle neck is pushed against the bottom plate and the top of the bottle is pressed tight against the rubber patch creating a gas tight seal.

Fill bottle 80% full with ice cold water (cold water is needed to absorb the CO2 gas). Do not fill bottle all the way; you need room for the gas to interact with the water. Tighten the wing nuts. WARNING wear gloves and eye protection. Turn on your gas and adjust the regulator to give 52 lb. pressure.

Shake your bottle and your cold water will absorb some of the CO2 gas to make carbonated water.

Turn your gas off at the tank and loosen up one of your wing nuts to "bleed" off excess gas in the line.
You can add flavorings to the carbonated water if you want.

Drink and Enjoy
